Use of YouTube API Services

The Quiet Why Uploader uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Who uses this tool

This is an internal tool used only by the owner of the YouTube channel "The Quiet Why". It has no other users and is not offered to the public.

What data it accesses

With the owner's permission (Google OAuth 2.0), the tool accesses only the owner's own YouTube channel in order to: upload the channel's own videos; set their titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, captions, translations, schedule and playlists; read the channel's own videos and playlists to avoid duplicates; and update the channel's own description, keywords, country and banner. It does not access any other user's data, comments, subscribers, analytics or personal information.

What data it stores

The only data stored is the OAuth access and refresh token, kept in a file on the owner's own computer, plus the IDs of videos and playlists it created. Nothing is stored on any server, sent to third parties, sold, or used for advertising. The tool sets no cookies and uses no analytics.

How to revoke access and delete data

Access can be revoked at any time from Google security settings (Third-party apps with account access). Deleting the local token file removes all stored data immediately. If access is revoked, stored data is deleted within 7 days.
